Natalie & Rafa had a summer wedding at The Peach Orchard in Houston, and the whole day had a soft, romantic storybook feel. The venue already has such pretty details on its own — the white chapel, the clean architecture, and the big chandeliers in the ballroom — and their décor blended right in. They kept everything simple with greenery and lots of candlelight.
The ceremony was inside the chapel, and it started raining right as it began. It actually made the space look even more peaceful and dreamy through the windows. The sun came out at the perfect time, right before their first kiss. They also added a little greenery hanging from the ceiling beams, which tied in well with the storybook theme.
The reception tables were lined with candles and greenery, and the chandeliers in the ballroom added a warm glow to everything. One of my favorite details was the seating chart — real books with each guest’s name on the spine.
Later that evening, the bride changed into a party dress made from her mom’s original wedding gown and surprised the groom by cutting bangs during the outfit change. They ended the night with a champagne tower and a packed dance floor with their friends and family.
If you’re planning a Peach Orchard wedding or need a Houston wedding photographer, this venue is always a great option. It photographs well in every season and works beautifully with simple, timeless décor.
