Kristella and John’s intimate spring wedding at Briscoe Manor was one of those intimate, emotional days that just felt effortless in all the best ways. With only 50 guests, everything was intentionally personal.
They chose Briscoe Manor as their venue, which gave us the dreamiest backdrop: a manicured lawn, a distant lake, and that wide-open Texas ranch feel. Lovely Events planned the day to perfection, balancing soft romance with thoughtful, elevated details. The ceremony featured a blush and pink floral arch full of roses and baby’s breath.
The bridesmaids wore romantic pink floral gowns, complementing Kristella’s structured dress with a statement bow. Misty Rockwell did her makeup, and she looked absolutely flawless all day. Kristella later changed into a sparkly reception dress—paired with matching, custom-branded cowboy hats for her and John that was the highlight of the evening.
They had two signature cocktails that I loved: the Chanel—a French 75 named after their sweet dog (who was also part of the ceremony)—and the Montgomery, an espresso martini named after their last name. Little touches like that made the day feel really personal and fun.
The reception was full of soft pink florals in bud vases, warm candlelight, and the prettiest cake from Cakes by Gina. J Kelly Productions kept the energy going all night, and Love Club Creative was there as the content creator capturing all the candid in-between moments alongside me.
It was such a joy to photograph this one—the sweetest couple and I am so sad it’s already over!
